Review on Timeless Console Handheld Controller: Perfect for Children's Gaming by Brian Cruz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheap, good quality, fun and retro.

So we can say right away that the console and controllers are direct clones of Nintendo's own NES Mini/Classic. But that's not bad - it's such an iconic design and so small it's actually cute. As you'd expect, there's no Nintendo branding, but you can clearly tell it's NES. Compared to the NES Mini (which also costs MUCH more), the controller ports have been switched from a Wii controller port. to a retro computer port. View with many pins. There's also no HDMI port, but there is an AV port (which actually looks like a headphone jack, but goes to a cable with a yellow/red composite cable). It actually reproduces how games used to work and looks a lot better than the more modern HDMI system. So it's definitely not bad - just different. The controllers are clones too, but they feel really good. Usually cheap third party controllers look awful, but not this one. They definitely feel like the originals. I'm happy that companies are starting to take controllers seriously. In general, the design is very good. I really expected a lot less for the price, but it's really good. Now it's all about looks. But when you plug it in and turn it on, you'll be really surprised. Of course I'm talking about games. When this thing advertised 620 games, I really assumed they were going to be cheap, unnecessary games. But no, there are many real games here. Classic games like Super Mario, Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters and Gradius. For arcade lovers there is Galaga, Donkey Kong and Burger Time. With something like this, my only advice is to buy it cheap, don't expect anything, and be pleasantly surprised. I definitely was.
