Service dog, always with me. A week after stepping on the glass and completely tearing the digital pad laterally involving the artery, there was no sign of recovery under the supervision of a veterinarian. The vet said the drug wouldn't hurt, but he didn't expect it to help. Everywhere I check at least once an hour (service dog, non-trivial), so I find my definition of effectiveness reliable, albeit anecdotal. After applying this morning/evening and every time she broke the confines with a sudden step or jump, the growth was noticeable (from within without sealing the edges, the pads heal from the inside to the surface). I found it easiest to apply a pea-sized amount to a clean finger and wipe the wound with a swab. She liked the taste enough, at first she needed the command "leave it”, then she got bored. I am convinced that this shortens the recovery time. Packing chamber with a small sample tube that endured the four weeks it took to resume full activity, including all runs and wrestling at the dog park.
