Came in a nice gift box but in the box there was a dent on the packaging foam like someone pressed on it from the inside and the other arm was bent. I was able to smooth it out quite well. I bought this to fix my great grandmother's Audubon bird clock and the old clockwork that went with this model number had a gear with a tiny lug that pressed two pieces of copper together to drive a separate bird device. This new one had no such mechanism, FYI. Maybe it's a custom item? Otherwise easy installation.
