Review on Copper Plated Barfly Classic Hawthorne Spring Bar Strainer - Perfect For Home Bartending! by Frank Alejo

I've liked Barfly products since I got my first one (a very nice jigger). This strainer does not disappoint me. It's a simple device made of stainless steel and a stainless steel spring. The metal base is heavy and feels nice in my hand. The spring is easily removed and replaced for cleaning. It's dishwasher safe. A simple tool for a simple task well done.For me having a cocktail is almost as much about the experience mixing it as it is in my enjoyment drinking it. I like nice bar tools and I've found more and more of mine are Barfly. This one feels nice in my hand. The edges are nicely smoothed with attention to detail. I think they get the experience part of mixing.I'm very pleased with this Barfly strainer. Keeping ice in the shaker so it doesn't water down the cocktail is what it does for me and does it well. Not sure there is much else to say. A simple solution traditionally done. I expect it will last longer than my life. Definitely 5 stars!
