Review on Philips Smart LED Ceiling Lamp, 35 W, White by Felicja Kucharska ᠌

Good product, more pros than cons.

At home there are already lamps from the xiaomi ecosystem. Table lamp, and Yeelight ceiling lamp. I will compare with him. I use a lamp in the kitchen. The kitchen is small, about 10 sq. M. Brightness is enough with a margin. Brighter at night than during the day with light from the window. When you eat calmly, it is convenient to turn on the unobtrusive dim yellow light, which does not strain your eyes and creates a cozy atmosphere in the kitchen. Through the application there are a bunch of automatic settings and scripts. In the center of the chandelier, there is a plate with the inscription of the company, there is an LED in it. It can dimly shine like a night light. It is convenient to automatically use it as a night light. It is dim, but the brightness is enough to drink water without turning on the main light. There are a couple more bonuses. For the Mihome eco system, the lamp can be a bluetooth gateway + it has a built-in temperature and humidity sensor. Can be used to control the hood/air conditioner. Of the minuses - the remote control. It must be purchased separately. The remote itself drains the battery very quickly, so change it every 6-8 months. He has been working at Yeelight for a year and a half and does not think to die. Yes, I forgot - the size of the chandelier is very thin. The mount is not separate and universal, like that of another brand, so the whole chandelier is hung at once. In general, there are more positive impressions and considering the cost - a must have lamp.

Pros
  • Connection to Mihome. The ability to control the temperature and brightness of the glow. There is a night light.
Cons
  • The remote control must be purchased separately. It is not convenient and does not have the ability to mount on the wall
