This set contains some 1-1/2" half rounds that are just the right thing to put on an Achilles tendon, or to wrap around the base of a little toe. Those will be a welcome addition to my hiking kit.The pads have a backing that is a bit hard to take off - I really wish there were some kind of tab. The pads are also a little too easy to wrinkle, or accidently loosen, and the glue is not at all water soluble. So, depending on your situation, they may be better as a base layer, with a bandaid or some surgical tape over them.
