GASKETS ARE NOT GASOLINE RESISTANT

So I had 3 tanks and they all shared a nozzle so I thought this would be perfect. the yellow screw cap looked more or less almost tight, but went further. I filled the canister at the station and lugged it home, and when I turned the nozzle to pour, the seal fell out, bulging and deforming. will not continue. So if you top up with water or maybe diesel it might work, but with petrol you need an o-ring or something so swap that out for a gasket.
