2003 Honda Accord (261,000 miles). The transmission has been serviced (roughly) every 15,000 since I've owned it (starting at 143,000). Slippages started with the last interval. Not bad, but enough to understand what he was likely to be at the end of his life. I decided to save up for a new gearbox but saw this and thought I could extend the life of the gearbox until I saved up for another one. Added additive and drove 15 miles. The transfer failed completely. Now it doesn't shift into gear and the car doesn't move. A cautionary tale for those who doubt this supplement.
