Apply Teflon tape, caulk, or pipe thread putty to the drain threads just below the overflow hole. !

Apply TefTape or Caulk or pipe thread putty to the drain pipe threads just below the overflow or it will drip! It doesn't look like solid plastic types. Be careful, look at the DIAGRAM not the photo, the bottom washer is cup shaped. It fits nicely in a 1 3/4" drain. It looks beautiful. I doubt it will fit in a 1 1/4" drain hole. After reading the reviews I looked at the pictures, they are inconsistent (I reported to Amazon); Be sure to look at the DIAGRAM 3/4 at the bottom of the page, not the photo, the bottom washer is cup shaped and should be facing up not down. Another confusion is the black washer, which is transition type (meaning it has 2 diameters in one element), the smaller diameter goes down the shaft. One person mentioned that that black washer/adapter is pretty easy to lose and hence the stem leaks. The top white washer has a beveled side down. The video briefly shows a black puck at 23 seconds. Watch the video first, then carefully photograph the entire block as it comes out of the box for future reference. incorrect installation of the washers (because in the photos 1,3,5 and 7 this explains the difficulties and leaks. Yes, in the main line of the picture the photos 1,3,5,7 on the lower washer are wrong ( pay attention to Use pipe thread putty, sealant or Teflon tape in the pipe threads directly under the plate washer, otherwise it will drip after a short time.
