Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ RayLab MT-SC Tripod: Compact, Sturdy, with Smartphone Holder for Effortless Photography by Damien Sg แ Œ

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

After almost 4 months of use, I am very satisfied with this tripod! An indispensable assistant when photographing in night mode or at long exposure, for shooting time-lapses and recording video from your phone - the mount is reliable, the handle is large, the hand does not get tired of shooting. We managed to check the strength of the tripod quite quickly - it fell on the concrete floor from a height of about 1.5 meters, there was no damage left on it. For shooting from the phone I use Samsung Galaxy Note10, for example, I fixed an old Galaxy Grand Neo in the photos - medium-sized phones. Too big phones will fit into this tripod with difficulty (and even then, depending on which ones to consider), in my case there were no problems. For use with cameras, surprisingly, it is also suitable. I donโ€™t recommend taking it as the main tripod for such purposes (here, I think, everything is clear anyway), but as an addition, if something urgently needs to be removed without shifts, itโ€™s an acceptable option, my camera and Polaroid can withstand it! I can safely recommend to those who need a compact and versatile holder for a phone or small cameras, you will definitely be satisfied with the quality of materials!

Pros
  • Qualitatively assembled, durable plastic, can easily withstand not only the phone, but also heavier equipment. Very compact, fits in a jacket pocket. For all the time of use, the phone did not slip, it holds securely. There is a thread for use as a tripod for the camera, as well as a separate one for connecting external peripherals. I am glad that this tripod is not limited to phones! Can be used as a regular phone holder to make it more convenient to shoot with one hand without covering the microphones.
Cons
  • A crookedly glued level, so personally in my case I have to find the horizon myself (pictured). With a strong twisting of photographic equipment, the rubber seal was torn, but this only affects the aesthetics, I donโ€™t see anything terrible for myself (in my case, the seals for the phone remained intact, only the rubber for the camera was torn, and even then not much).
