Review on Enhanced Stopping Performance: Power Stop K1933 Z23 Carbon πŸ”₯ Fiber Brake Pads with Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors Kit by Corey Slivinsky

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Unfortunately several sets do not last.

Unfortunately I cannot give this product a good rating. I originally installed a matched set of pads and rotors on the front of my 2003 Expedition and followed all torque specs and break-in procedures. After 4-6 weeks I noticed a noticeable tremor when warming up. I found the warranty process very lengthy and painful. After 3-4 weeks, dozens of emails, photos and repair procedures, they finally replaced my rotors (one of which was cracked) for the shipping cost (which was no small feat due to the weight). I also replaced my calipers at this point to ensure I have all new components. At first I was happy, but after a few months I shudder again. I will replace them with OEM locally. If you are only considering rotors it would be helpful to check the warranty period on the Power Stop website. A few months later I was back where I started and made a few hundred dollars.

Pros
  • Slotted perforated rotors for maximum cooling. They are galvanized for maximum rust protection.
Cons
  • Protection
