I use this to hold wood pieces for a cnc router. I also use the blue tape and ca glue method as well. Between the two this tape is much more convenient and seriously sticks, but has been known to have a bit of movement when cutting under load.The other thing to keep in mind when buying this is that it is very thick and will quickly gum up bits if you cut into it. I usually like to make my last pass with a compression bit about 0.5mm past the piece to give clean edges for less sanding, but when you do that you end up with a huge sticky mess on your bit and on the next cut it will smear it all over your edges.
