Dangerous and defective
The screws in this kit are too soft and too long. When tightening the brackets for my first ride with the product, one of the bolts sheared off. The defective screw came loose from the nut and damaged the roof rack. The screw had to be drilled out to remove it. This rhino accessory is expensive and I expected quality (or at least some level of safety!) for the money. Now I have an unsafe product and permanent damage to my roof rack. Imagine if that bolt failed while I was driving at 70 mph on a busy freeway.
