Review on 📷 MakerFocus Raspberry Pi4 Camera IR: Night Vision Fisheye Camera, 5MP OV5647, IR-CUT - Day & Night Vision Switchable - Compatible with Raspberry Pi3B+/3B/2B by Gerard Hudson

This is a great camera for the price. My use case was a cloudless baby monitor with a pan and tilt servo to guide the camera. The wide angle made the servo pointless for a child's room, the picture quality is excellent - I stream 640 x 480 until I spot movement or sound, then bring it up. up to 1080p. Night light also works well for a small space, almost as well as the built-in camera spotlight (see screenshots in different lighting conditions). My main complaints: 1. The non-standard form factor of the camera made it difficult to attach to a belt. I had to get creative to stick it on my pan and tilt kit.2. There doesn't seem to be an option to adjust the sensitivity of the photoresistors or turn the IR illumination and IR cut filter on and off via software. This will disable the IR light/filter or enable it when I don't want it.3. Unreliable conductive contact when using only supplied screws and bolts. Overall I feel my complaints are finicky this is a great product.
