In my case I just try to keep dust and dirt out. I store my bikes in a dirty building so I don't need them to withstand the weather. They are sized to fit my YP400 scooter and I really like the rubber strap on the bottom to seal out the dirt as much as possible. If I store my bikes outside year round I'm not sure how many seasons I would get because the material isn't very thick but is well made and worth the money.
