Review on 🚽 Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Bowl Cleaning Gel Starter Kit with Dispenser and Gel, Glade Rainshower Scent, 6 Stamps per Pack, Set of 2 (12 Stamps in Total) by Tricia Anderson

This is my first time using this product. We have highly mineralized well water and an ad saying it reduces limescale caught my attention. If it helps at all, it will be worth it for me. While vinegar works great, sticking it to the sides of the bowl is difficult and requires a lot of fiddling. Anyway, back to that product review... Overall I'm not particularly clumsy, I read directions and usually have no trouble following them BUT this product outperformed me. Easy enough to assemble small tubes and button function. apparently. Unfortunately, this is where the simplicity ends. I generally felt quite uncomfortable applying the gel. As I started to push the gel onto the surface, I pushed the button but it didn't go into the next hole like it should. So I reached for the hole I wanted, but when I pulled back only half of the gel stayed in place, the rest flowed down the rim of the applicator. Video. Didn't see anything I did wrong so I went to toilet number two for another try. Again, it took a lot of pressure to get the tube moving and when it finally moved it just jumped four holes and the gel was everywhere! Among other things on my hands. To salvage something I took some TP, grabbed some gel that got on the rim and tried to push it into place under the rim. Ugly, not pleasant and probably inefficient. But wait! I have a third toilet and a third chance to make things right. First, I washed my hands thoroughly. I'm pretty sure this isn't meant for skin contact and now my hands are a bit itchy. I didn't see any specific warnings on the packaging as to what to do with skin contact, so I just used cold water and hand soap. I noticed that it had warnings not to allow children and pets to come into contact with it. So I went to toilet number three where it was basically a re-enactment. Because the applicator was difficult to press on and then quickly released and went beyond the normal stops, I used 6 applicators on three toilets, most of which went down the toilet and the rest was cumbersome to insert by hand. I bought two packs so I can try again sometime, but in fact I'm almost ready to go back to white vinegar. I wash my hands again. I will revise my rating when the second round goes better. Also, only time will tell if there is a noticeable difference in mineral deposits.
