Review on 🐑 Ecoigy 14x14 Wool Ironing Pad - Premium New Zealand Wool Quilting Mat by Kristen Reid

I sew to order, both quilts and clothes. Conventional ironing boards have an open work surface through which steam flows. The design of this pressing surface can be transferred to the material to be pressed due to fragile, insufficient caps. I have done other coatings to prevent this but have never been happy with the results. This wool ironing mat is evenly dense, stable and sits right next to my machine, I don't have to get up and go to the ironing board every time I need to iron and can make better use of my time. The results are impressive. The seams lie flat, and using pins to secure the quilt blocks in place as you press them down has made this multipurpose rug one of my go-to sewing tools. Love it!
