Many people will try to tell you "get an expensive puller, it's worth it". Well I'm here to tell you it's a burden. This thing worked fine for me. I'm not a mechanic, just a layman, and I was able to remove the harmonic balancer very easily. Pro tip: just use the socket on the end of the puller if your balancer won't remove due to a short crank bolt or washer on that bolt. I simply put the head in place of the crankshaft bolt and secured it with a puller. Then the Harmonic Balancer just slid all the way down.
