Review on 🚗 ENIXWILL Front Tow Hooks Compatible with Dodge Ram 1500 by Jason Vigen

Unfortunately the shackle for one side was wrong as mentioned. The extended ear was supposed to be on the left on both sides, but the manufacturer made one of the mounts with the extended ear on the right after making sure it didn't fit. I cut the ear off and weld it to the right side, making sure to sand it flush to the side of the mounting stem. I might have just given them back if I hadn't already painted them red. This was the second set ordered, the first ones were damaged, one was really bent. This set was still damaged and needed repainting. The bracket I didn't modify wasn't made straight and I had to use shims between the hook and bracket to align the hitch as it sags a lot on one side. The bracket I modified actually fits the hook much straighter, although I ended up using a washer to align that side. Now I'm trying to figure out how to mount my rack as with the extra washers there isn't enough bolt length to mount the stem shackle to the tow hooks. Update: I just want to add that I decided to contact the seller about the issue and they are fully taking care of it. In my position, with the rack removed, new faceplates installed, and a hook installed, it made sense to change the part and finish the job. I think they just sort out the last bits of a bad batch.
