🚗 ENIXWILL Front Tow Hooks Compatible with Dodge Ram 1500 Review

The ones I bought are for the 2019-2021 Ram 1500. The product description says 'chrome'. That's not chrome, that's cheap silver spray paint. In some places the paint is missing and bare metal is visible. I need to repaint them before I mount them on my truck. They were cheap so I keep them to myself. The main reason I got them is a front restore point, not looks. You get what you pay for!

They feel solid, they're heavy, the brackets are pretty thick. As mentioned in other reviews, the brackets are wrong. They are mirrored, the frames of these trucks require the brackets to be identical on both sides, counterintuitive as that may sound. Be prepared to modify the mount on one side. I cut off the ear and weld it to the opposite side. You could probably just cut off the ear if you can't weld. Its purpose is to attach the bracket to the frame/bumper rather than its design.

I don't cut it like other reviewers. I will not and should not weld. I will contact the seller or I will try. Now writes"not available". Look for the right bracket in my photo. You need both. The one on the left is not installed as is; You need to cut off the bent ear and weld to the other side. EDIT/UPDATE: I contacted the seller and they kindly sent me extra brackets for their money. Very pleased and impressed with their customer service and looking forward to installing them.

First the packaging was damaged. It's a 25 pound box with metal in it, so I get it. but they are very badly packaged. The box was of similar quality to a donut box and each tow hook was in bubble wrap with nothing separating it. The applied black coating was torn and rubbed off in places on all hooks. hooks look great and feel very strong. It would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the dowel pins on the bracket didn't work. Oddly enough, the alignment holes on the 1500 glide frame aren't mirrored, with the left being on the left side of the mount and the right being on the right, but both on the left. Unfortunately the shackle for one side was wrong as mentioned. The extended ear was supposed to be on the left on both sides, but the manufacturer made one of the mounts with the extended ear on the right after making sure it didn't fit. I cut the ear off and weld it to the right side, making sure to sand it flush to the side of the mounting stem. I might have just given them back if I hadn't already painted them red.
