Purchased for making all kinds of metal structures. Steel, aluminum etc. Reduces friction and heat. Lost a star for being on the hard side, making them difficult to apply to a cold blade until warm. Not easy to apply on power drills. The hardness of the material allows them to withstand the rough treatment my staff will give them. I also have a softer old ham wax stick that is used for drilling or cutting wood and it needs to be handled carefully or it may get dirty. All in all they do their job well and last longer than I expected. In my opinion, they should also offer a softer formulation. I will buy again.
