This tool was a threat to my project of drilling a hole in a plaster ceiling for a recessed light: during use the pilot drill came out and the two pins that also came out of the project from the mandrel into the chisel, causing wobble which unfortunately exaggerated the size of the hole I drilled into the finished surface. To make sure I hadn't made a mistake adjusting the drill bit, I put the mandrel back together as much as possible and the same thing happened again. A lot of time was wasted, which hurt the project. The chisel held up well, the cutting teeth on it seemed hard, so you could have a different experience with a different stick.
