Review on 🎧 Enhanced Yaesu SSM-57A Earphone & PTT Microphone as a Replacement for MH-37A4B by Mike Bogan

It worked as soon as I plugged it in with the radio off. They're loud but pick up PTT on and off sounds when people press them. I'm afraid it will damage my hearing if I use them for too long. I turned the volume down really low and it was still a problem. It would be nice if the PTT button you press to talk was just below the speaker, it's hard to press and not covering the speaker. The volume is great, it just needs some sort of factory reset for those PTT clicks. worth $41? no But I read that we should use the Yaesu brand with the Yaesu radio. After paying so much for the Yaesu FT3 DR, I expected better quality.
