Amazing sound. Works well. One should be careful not to cover the microphone hole when pressing the PTT button, but that just makes it more convenient. I would buy it again.

Works great with my YAESU FT1DR HT. Great sound, compact form factor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a way to communicate without disturbing others or to see what's going on privately.

Likely fake. Not marked Yaesu/Vertex and will not work with FT-60. Fits securely in the ft-60 socket so it's not like I didn't push it all the way in. To be on the safe side, I tried two different radios. I hear a noise But I can't send with a tangent or with a built-in button. Also the tuning knob and the front panel of the radio are locked/unresponsive. I suspect that in the item I received two of the 4 lines were swapped.

It worked as soon as I plugged it in with the radio off. They're loud but pick up PTT on and off sounds when people press them. I'm afraid it will damage my hearing if I use them for too long. I turned the volume down really low and it was still a problem. It would be nice if the PTT button you press to talk was just below the speaker, it's hard to press and not covering the speaker.
