Review on Mueller Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer: Accurate Fever, Body & Surface Temperature Measurement with Memory Recall, Auto Power-Off, and Backlight Indicator - Gray by Trevor French

I had high hopes for this unit after searching several sites for products that were clearly rebranded as the same unit. We had to purchase a non-contact thermometer to examine guests attending an in-person event, but this would not be a solution as it consistently far exceeds the temperature of the oral thermometer. Of the four people who tried it on, all read over 100 degrees and got a yellow warning screen, but had a perfectly normal temperature of 98.6 degrees on their oral thermometer. The readings were taken indoors at an ambient temperature of around 70 degrees. We've tried it from various distances including 1-2 inches as instructed to no avail, and also gave 10 seconds between measurements, again as instructed.
