Beautiful dish holder. I think it looks even better than the product description photos. It is very large and the porcelain seems strong and durable. It easily holds about a dozen stainless steel utensils, including my old-fashioned whisk, which is definitely a space hog. This frees up a lot of space in one of my kitchen drawers. There is room for a few more items. The embossed design is a delicate pattern of snowflakes, diamonds, a floral motif and decorative stripes. Turquoise is a soft shade with a black border. The glaze is applied evenly to give a smooth, glossy finish inside and out. There is a layer of cork on the bottom to prevent the dish holder from damaging the surfaces. Although the dimensions are shown and the volume is listed (about 3/4 gallon!), I was still surprised at how large it was. It can easily be used for other purposes - it will look great on my desk with a plant or stationery. The current price of $17.96 is very reasonable for this well-made, quality dish rack, but an additional 10% off coupon is now available, making it an even better deal. The crockery basket was packaged very well and arrived safely and undamaged.
