Review on Wink Smart Home Hub by Josh Koa

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Severe connection problem

I had a link hub for a few years and all of a sudden the wink app stopped supporting it. I did a little research and found out that the company that made the hub went bankrupt so it's not really Wink's fault so I bite. I have the wink center and it was awful. It simply refused to connect to my wifi and spent hours trying to figure it out. Each time it failed, it would turn purple and the apps would tell you it was because of incorrect Wi-Fi information. This is BS but keeps trying more things.1. Placed the hub a few inches away from my router, same problem3. I disconnected and reconnected to my Wi-Fi network and confirmed that my Wi-Fi information is correct4. Tried again, same problem. Tried other Wi-Fi network (I have several in my house), same problem6. Hard reset wink app, same problem7. Hard reset my phone, same problem7. Factory reset Wink Hub, same problem8. Turning Win Hub on and off, same problem. At this point I gave up.
