In general, the smartphone made a good impression, as a smartphone for a child is very good. Outwardly, it looks good, with a high-quality large screen, a powerful processor, a fast shell. The absence of Google services brings some inconvenience, but most of the problems can be solved through the App Gallery. Pros: The smartphone was purchased for a child, so I will consider it from the point of view of a child. Advantages: 1. Price - at the moment it can be bought for 16 thousand or so. For the first smartphone, the price is not sky-high, especially considering the other characteristics. 2. Screen. In this smartphone, the screen is with an IPS matrix, but at the same time everything looks very good. The resolution is honest FullHD, the screen size is impressive, the color reproduction did not let us down either. I did not find any minuses at the screen. We can say that the screen does not support 2K resolution or 90 hertz, but for the money the screen is so good. 3. Processor. Despite the budget smartphone, the processor is almost top-end. I checked it on Asphalt 9, the game went without freezes, FPS did not sag either. I donβt know how Huawei could fit such a processor in 16 thousand, but I was very pleased with its performance. 4. Shell. EMUI is a little unusual for me, but original and interesting. Interface reaction speed, animation rendering - everything is fine, well done. 5. Camera. I shoot a lot myself, so when choosing a phone I try to make sure that the camera is up to par. There are several cameras in this phone, I canβt call them top-end, but theyβre not bad either. Again, a phone for a child, this should be enough for him. 6. Fingerprint scanner. Power button with built-in fingerprint scanner - respect. The sensor is fast, works accurately, besides, it reminds me of some models of Sony smartphones that I used to love very much. 7. Face unlock. It works quickly, reliability is in question, I havenβt tested it, but again - a smartphone for a child, nothing important is stored there. 8. Weight. Pretty light, perfect for a child. 9. Design. On the one hand, the smartphone does not look pretentious, but the appearance itself is neat, the camera unit looks interesting. With its cons. 1. The biggest problem is Google services. I knew even before the purchase that they would not be, but I found several instructions on the Internet at once on how to put them on a smartphone. Unfortunately, none of the instructions worked, I will try further. 2. The second problem stems from the first - Huawei App Gallery periodically lacks some applications. On the other hand, the choice is still quite large, everything you need is there. 3. I have not found an analogue of Google Family Link - the ability to control a child's smartphone from my smartphone. I really liked this application in Google, I would like something similar on this smartphone. 4. Support for external memory cards. Formally, it is, but microsd cards are not supported, instead, the smartphone uses nanosd cards, which are not particularly common with us.
