If you grew up like me you didn't like sitting on public toilet seats and overseas public toilets don't often have these disposable toilet seat covers. . I bought it on the advice of our tour group leader and I'm glad I followed her advice. Yes, you can always [wink, wink] take some of the same disposable toilet seat covers from public restrooms in America and use them for travel, but they're neatly packaged in little bags like handkerchiefs. They're harder to find at local pharmacies, and you might find them cheaper there if you can find them. I've never seen them except in an expensive traveler's only catalogue. Buying online saved me the hassle of wasting time looking for them and fueling up money to get to a store that has them.
