So glad we installed it on our 2006 Kia Optima to retain the steering wheel controls. We had already installed an aftermarket JVC radio (KW-R940BTS). Once installed, everything on the steering wheel worked fine except for the 'Preset' button at the top of the steering wheel. This is used to select preset stations on the radio or pause/play tracks on CDs. Apart from this limitation, everything works as described. There's a very minimal input lag between pressing the volume etc. and actually moving on the radio, but it's very minimal and not a deal breaker. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. In this situation, would I recommend it to other buyers? Yes of course!
