Not entirely useless

If you're not doing anything that requires extreme precision, such as B. Wall frame or other rough mounting, these can serve as extra hands. However, I wouldn't expect them to be useful for furniture making or any other application where precision matters. I took two pieces of 1x4 scrap and tried to join them with pocket holes (that's what I wanted them for) and as you can see in the picture the gap in the joint is 1/16th to 1/8th. I just could never get the clamp to hold the parts in place properly. It tightens well, but for some reason it slips a bit once you start drilling. I've found straight drilling to be a little more accurate with no alternate joinery, which is why I'm saying framing a wall or maybe creating a desktop would probably work for you. But other than that, it's worth looking for another brand or something more expensive. 4 stars overall because they are not completely useless.

Cons
