Very good value for money

For a hobby carpenter like me these clamps are strong enough to last a very long time. Before that I paid more for the same type but not the same quality.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Doubtful

Not entirely useless

If you're not doing anything that requires extreme precision, such as B. Wall frame or other rough mounting, these can serve as extra hands. However, I wouldn't expect them to be useful for furniture making or any other application where precision matters. I took two pieces of 1x4 scrap and tried to join them with pocket holes (that's what I wanted them for) and as you can see in the picture the gap in the joint is 1/16th to 1/8th. I just could never get the clamp to hold the parts in placeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Damaged

Strong and versatile, best in clips

I built a solar panel box. Since the box has to hold over 1000 pounds of batteries, I work with a heavy (thick) wooden frame. I have corner clamps for smaller lumber, but they don't work with 2 x 8 lumber. I needed something much heavier to precisely join pieces of wood in 90ยฐ joints, so I ordered this set of 2 adjustable corner clamps. give. Made from solid metal, these angle clamps easily hold large chunks of 2 x 8 lumber together while I drill holes for countersunk screws and bury screws. As

Great clips for projects that don't require precision.

The best advice I can give you is to buy two more so you have four clamps. The reason is support. Using these clamps will raise your workpieces 3/4 inch off the surface. I have a photo to show you the thickness of the base. Therefore, they are difficult to level with longer boards. Because even if you turn the knob to tighten the clamps, gravity pulls the boards down from the other end, so you'll never get a perfectly square clamp. So you need the same clamps on opposite ends to support andโ€ฆ

Perfect for what I need!

I plan to use them mainly for framing my pictures. I'm an artist, so I have to make a lot of frames for exhibitions and various art competitions, and buying frames is expensive. I tried them as soon as they arrived and they perfectly hold the two sides of the frame together at a right angle q 90 degrees. They hold beveled boards or butt-joined boards. They are made of quality material and work well. The maximum jaw opening width is 2.6 inches, which is suitable for most frames. If I need to use

Medium Power Wood Clamps

Good for light to medium work, these clamps are best suited for the occasional carpenter, not the one who makes a living at it. The clamps look nice, with rubberized grips like a set of screwdrivers. Easy to put on and in most cases they hold up well. They don't appear to be very strong or durable, perhaps due to the lightweight aluminum construction. They work and I had no problem holding some MDF boards together while gluing and screwing them together. I've tried this with some ferrousโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Rotating Handle Design: The floating head screw and electroplating lathe spindle can be adjusted, and the single handle of the wood clamp can be rotated in two directions, making the clamping more convenient and accurate.
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Not for precision photo frames

Cannot load media. The picture frame displayed requires precise connections. These clamps will not accurately align a 90 degree connection. - Raise clamp on one side: Using a precision cut and a verified 90 degree joint, I checked the clamps. The central part of the clamp is designed to be free and move in all directions. The consequence is that when pressed on the workpiece, it tends to lift the side, resulting in a misaligned joint or gap on one side. Check out the attached video showing this
