Review on Mount-It! Large Tilting TV Wall Mount Bracket - 42-80 Inch, 220 lb Capacity, VESA Compatible, Low Profile, Flat Screens by Kevin Bucher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

There are flaws in the work, but not terrible for such a price. (A 55 " TCL Roku TV is installed with it).

This mount is pretty good for the price The built in spirit level is useful and the general way of mounting is fairly easy I have a TCL 4K Roku installed I'm pretty happy happy in order to. In my opinion it has several disadvantages. One is that once the TV is installed (especially if it's mounted higher, like mine) accessing the tilt lock bolts and such is very difficult. Hand behind the tv/bracket in the middle (they face inwards) Second, at least on my tv, as the mounting screws on the tv are pretty low and the bracket holes only align with it in a certain way. You can see the bottom of two br. The hands with the pockets stick out about an inch or two below my TV. Since my TV is attached above my bathrobe, it's noticeable, but it's not a big deal. Also, the bottom screws that secure the brackets after you've hooked them to the top of the wall mount seem far removed. That means there is a significant gap between the hook and the bottom rail of the wall frame. The screws come out but it seems the bracket should fit more to the width of the rails on the wall.

Pros
  • The mount attaches to the TV using the VESA screw hole pattern on the back of the TV, measured in millimeters. Supported VESA sizes: 200 x 200 mm to 850 x 450 mm. See the tutorial video for more information. Info on VESA templates and installation
Cons
  • Not bad but...
