This shampoo is intended for dry, brittle hair and mine certainly meets the criteria. The main ingredient in this product is baobab oil which is meant to help repair damage and make my hair feel more silky and soft. It is also meant for helping preserve the color on chemically treated hair.I could say honestly that this does a fair job but I didn't notice any significant difference using this compared to my usual products. I do like that it is sulfate free and doesn't contain parabens or silicone to coat the hair. I like the smell of it. You are only supposed to use this twice a week according to the information sheet and leave on for about 2-3 minutes before rinsing and applying your conditioner.
