Super Sudsy Shampoo

This is a pleasant shampoo to use. Without extensive control group testing, I cannot unequivocally say it makes my color last longer, but the color seems to be hanging in there. PHYTOMILLESIME Botanical Color-Enhancing Shampoo lathers up enthusiastically. A little dab will do. Unfortunately, with the design of the bottle, it is hard to pour out a small amount. It does seem to tangle my baby-fine hair more than my previous shampoo, and requires a bit more conditioner to unravel it.But my hair…

Pros
  • Promotes hair elasticity, preventing damage that can lead to breakage
Cons
  • May leave hair feeling rough or tangled after washing

Small bottles - my new review

I'm using the pre-treatment along with the shampoo in order to hopefully stretch out the time between Just for Men shampoo from three days a week to two days a week. Only time will tell if this works, but the cost may be prohibitive considering the small size of these bottles. I may have to go back to three times a week of Just for Men regardless. This shampoo looks and smells like any other shampoo. It lathers up nicely and leaves my hair clean, not greasy.

Pros
  • Protects hair from environmental pollutants and UV radiation, reducing damage
Cons
  • Doesn't contain any organic or all-natural ingredients

respectable product

My sister has been a profession stylist for 25 years. She says this is a great product with a good reputation. I know she's used it a lot in the past and recommends to her clients.

Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with color-treated hair

Smells like a Salon

You know when you walk into a salon and you take a deep whiff and smell, well, that specific salon smell you can't smell anywhere else? That's what this shampoo smelled like - the salon. So of course I figured it would be more expensive and would work better. One thing to note is that it's a LOT more liquidy than your traditional shampoo. Both my teenaged daughter and I were very surprised at how liquidy it was. That being said, it smelled great and worked well also!

Pros
  • 1.9 x 2.2 x 6.9 inches; 9.12 Ounces
Cons
  • Can leave hair feeling greasy if not rinsed thoroughly

So So Shampoo for my opinion

I have baby fine blond hair with highlights that is always looking for a little lift and shine. I was not expecting lift from this product as it is not advertised as body building but I was hoping for shine. Alas I didn't get either lift or shine. It left my hair like any normal shampoo would.I am not at all keen on the excess packaging either. The metal can is in a box which is wrapped in cellophane. My box was in perfect condition but for some reason the metal can had a large dent in it. I…

Nausea and headache inducing smell.

For a company that constantly sells themselves as having natural ingredients if you actually look at the label you will see Phyto is full of nasty chemicals. The smell is so overwhelming that it made me feel sick and gives me a headache after using it. I also don’t want to be walking around making other people feel unwell because of the smell of my shampoo. There is no excuse why Phyto should have this kind of "PARFUM / FRAGRANCE” ( undisclosedmixture of various scent chemicals and ingredients…

Pros
  • Makes my hair soft and healthy
Cons
  • Contains sulfates which can strip hair of natural oils

May help color-treated hair

This shampoo is intended for dry, brittle hair and mine certainly meets the criteria. The main ingredient in this product is baobab oil which is meant to help repair damage and make my hair feel more silky and soft. It is also meant for helping preserve the color on chemically treated hair.I could say honestly that this does a fair job but I didn't notice any significant difference using this compared to my usual products. I do like that it is sulfate free and doesn't contain parabens or…

Pros
  • Adds radiance and brightness to dull or faded hair, giving it a healthy-looking shine
Cons
  • May not provide enough volume for limp hair

By far my favorite PHYTO shampoo!

I have blonde/red color treated hair that is incredibly over processed and this shampoo is able to make my hair feel noticeably more soft without stripping the color out of my hair. It's sulfate free, has apple extracts to protect the color and integrity of my hair, and apple blossom extracts help to seal the cuticle (while locks in hair color and helps to smooth and detangle). It smells incredible and a small amount goes a long way.

Pros
  • Creates a luscious, voluminous look without weighing down or greasing up the hair
Cons
  • May not provide enough cleansing power for those with oily hair

Smells Great; Color Remained Bold

First, Yes this smells great. It's a perfume-like apple floral smell. That said, Phytomillesime is a great shampoo. My current shampoo is Kerastase (in the orange bottle) and it's made a huge difference with my hair, which is color treated red with highlights and tends to fade quickly. I used to spend $$ on conditioners but now to preserve the color and cope with hard water buildup I spend the $$ on the shampoo. I am NOT a frequent washer (because of hard water) and use dry shampoo regularly.I…

Works well with my color-treated hair

I have been dyeing my hair for years. I have short, fine hair and I shampoo daily.I found that this shampoo worked well for my color-treated hair. No frizz, left my hair soft and easy to style. I like that it doesn’t include sulfates, which causes my hair color to fade. I have found in the past that sulfate-free shampoos don’t lather well, but that’s not the case here - there’s a rich lather with this shampoo. It does have a scent, while not very mild, not that strong either. It’s seems a bit of

Pros
  • Restores and maintains natural pH balance, which helps to improve overall hair health
Cons
  • Not suitable for those with curly or coily hair textures

I would prefer a shampoo that lathers a little more

I have had a difficult time getting a good lather out of this shampoo. It does leave my hair feeling clean and soft, and the smell is pleasant. I just really prefer a shampoo that lathers really well. I'm not a fan of the container, either. It is metal and gets pretty slick when your hands are wet.

Pros
  • The rich lather deeply cleanses hair, removing buildup and leaving it feeling refreshed
Cons
  • May not be effective at removing product buildup from hair

A BIG NO TO THIS ONE

My hair is curly and colored, and thin. So, I try new things to see what works best. This one left my hair greasy looking and my hair is actually on the dryer side. I was having to use the shampoo every 3 days and usually I can go 5 days. I was very disappointed in this product. Others in this line work great just not this one and the conditioner.

Pros
  • Adds volume and thickness to fine or limp hair, enhancing body and fullness
Cons
  • Can cause hair to become oily more quickly than with other shampoos

Smells devine! in my review

This product works well; requires a bit more to suds up, but then again my hair is long and relatively thick. It leaves your hair shiny, healthy looking and it smells like heaven.

Pros
  • B075HK9DNL
Cons
  • Fragrance may be too strong for some people

nice shampoo for color-treated hair

I just starting coloring my hair last year. I'd never been brave enough to do it and then just thought, If not now, when? -- and I've been having a blast. My one disappointment is that some colors/brands tend to fade fairly quickly, so I'm hoping this shampoo will help.As a shampoo I like this. It has a nice fresh clean smell, lathers up nicely and rinses clean. My hair still has its body. It is soft and manageable. There is not much shine, if that's something you care about.I'll update this…

Pros
  • The formula is sulfate-free, making it gentle on color-treated hair and helping to prevent fading
Cons
  • Can cause scalp irritation for those with eczema or psoriasis

Botanical color-enhancing color-protecting shampoo

Have been using this for a while to get a "feel" of how well this works. It works really well.I've been able to delay my monthly reapplication of hair color by about 2 weeks by using this shampoo. It brings out the sublte highlights and makes my hair look healthier in the process.I use this every other day, inbetween my Redkin brand, and I believe this works as well as the Redkin brand, so that is a plus when trying to save money. This shampoo has some sudzing but isn't overly. There are no…

helps my bright color last

I enjoy having bright color streaks in my hair (red and burgundy at the moment), and this Phytomillesime (a French brand) has done a good job of keeping the color intact after the latest refresh at the salon - sometimes it's like a color bomb has gone off in the shower after a shampoo when it's been touched up. There's been less 'bleed' with this shampoo, which is good. The shampoo is a little runny (so be careful when pouring it out of the bottle), especially since a little goes a long way. It

Pros
  • Smells delightful, leaving a subtle, fresh, and fruity fragrance that lasts for hours
Cons
  • Can cause hair to become staticky during the dry winter months

Rich shampoo best in my review

When I received this shampoo I was a little surprised by how small the bottle was. Now that I've used it, I realize why that was so. This shampoo is really thick and rich, so you only need to use a very small amount of it to do the job. I think it performs well. My hair doesn't have a lot of original color, as it's mostly gray now, so I am not the best reviewer to evaluate color enhancing, but I do believe the shampoo leaves my hair looking shiny and feeling light. I like the fragrance, but if…
