This is a simple and safe way to protect yourself from possible injury when working on a circuit. It comes with several different adapters depending on the type of switch you have. I used it on a dual switch with a connecting rod. You just have to put it on one of the two switches and both are locked. The price is right, so it's pretty cheap insurance.
