New favorite sweatshirt? That is possible.

I won't lie I was actually worried about receiving this and even placing an order as there was some sizing doubts from other reviews. Which should be fair considering buying clothes online. But I have a longer torso than most people and I usually like my clothes a little looser than most people as I hate the feeling that my clothes are trying to smother me all day. I could easily fit a size L for most things, but tend to go for the XL for the added comfort. A lot of the reviews said to buy a size up so I originally queued XXL but when I got to the order confirmation screen I saw it said "XXL US / XXXL Asia" so I got it in one Selection box that translates to reduced to XL "XL US / XXL Asia". This fit is almost perfect. I have an extra room, but it's not bulging either. I mean comfort, I could use a little more room, but then it would really look too baggy for its design, so that's a good middle ground. The photo with the sweatshirt standing up shows how it hugs the body well. Not directly from the shoulders, but slightly inwards. I'm sure I could wear this in a size large, but the size XL gives me the space and more importantly the length I want. I like being able to raise my arms straight in the air and still be covered above the waist. I got this length with this sweatshirt and the sleeves are long enough for my arms which is sometimes a problem with other products. The other issue was the blend as I prefer 100% cotton (although it's not common) but it's very comfortable. I'm actually wearing it right now. Between size and comfort, I ordered 3 more colors in size XL. The one I have now is a combination of black and burgundy and I think it looks amazing. The photo shows more of a red cast than it really is. The actual color is more of a maroon which might not suit those who want a sharper contrast, but it works for me as I hate standing out and love darker colors. It's not the lightest sweatshirt I own, but it's still quite light so I can personally wear it on a chilly summer night. For most people, this is probably Fall/Spring attire. One of the biggest downsides for me would be the laces as they look a bit cheap as they naturally pucker. I also wish most sweatshirts had a front pocket with more color options. I actually use these bags so I was a little frustrated that the two color options (e.g. black/wine) don't have that, but oh well. I mostly wear sweatshirts so I have a lot of them and I really like this one. Only time will tell if it will hold up to repeated washings. If it fails me there I'll update if not just guessing it stood.
