Cheap, how cheap. Thing falls apart in no time - fourth I've bought in 4 years. Why? Because it can accommodate certain things that are not allowed in the dishwasher anywhere else. But the price is FUN and the quality is disgusting. $33 and it can't last a year? Let's face it, this thing is a piece of molded plastic - the maximum cost of production is $2-$3, and they top $30! They want to charge me ridiculous prices, give me a product that lasts longer than a bubble. This is a rut, pure and simple. By the way, it breaks in the same place every time - the mesh below, just above the reinforcing strip, simply breaks and objects fall out from below. Such an obvious design defect should be easily detectable and easily remedied. But Whirlpool chooses to ignore it -- it likes to raise money by selling its customers junk that doesn't last long. I won't even describe how badly our dishwasher needed repairs. Word to the wise: Buy LG or Samsung. Quality belongs in a different category.
