Review on πŸͺ“ Splitter Splitting Maul Chopper Thread by Todd Look

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This tool should be good for chopping wood from the videos I've watched.

Must have a great tool. Handling is rough. After use, the wood should even out the unevenness. Tapped holes are uneven. Screws are not screwed in by hand. You will need an anti-seize compound to screw it in. I will connect it to my PTO with an adapter. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B073WR6TFM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I'm going to reduce the outer wedge from 35mm to 32mm, 1.5mm per wedge, with a grinder and micrometer. then tighten with screws I think. Pre-drilling the starting hole can be worthwhile. can be 3/8 x 1" to split any wood. It won't be for cords of wood, only for harvesting from around the farm for grilling/smoking firewood. Fruit woods. I just can't throw this stuff away. Quality The machine ones I'm not concerned about editing, but some might be concerned.
