Looking back, if I could do it all over again I would not have made this purchase. In the package I received was a tube with a large smudge of glue which, even after cleaning with acetone as directed, was a different color as if it were the remnants of a sticker at a later stage in the manufacturing process. Also, one of the support plates had defective threads, causing it to sit unevenly and crooked no matter what pipe it was connected to. Keep in mind that you will have to do extra work to clean and seal the pipes. (The instructions in the box require you to have items like acetone and mineral oil on hand.) For the price, I expected more quality control. Going through that level of extra prep work only to end up frustrated and with a shaky leg – there really isn't any reasonable value. If you want rustic pipes that you need to clean and finish yourself and very good quality, no problem - just look elsewhere. There are many ways to do this and at significantly lower costs.
