Review on Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm πŸ“· f/1.8G Lens: Exceptional Image Quality and Versatility by Ada Sz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

This third one in a row didn't work out for me with fifty dollars; prior to that, there were two variations of the 1.8D model. They provide me with an unclaimed FR on the crop (Nikon D7100) (there are also 35mm and 85mm). I put it to use for walking light when I don't feel like lugging around a heavy 35ku (Sigma Art) camera because it is both compact and lightweight. The picture is sharp in the center from the start, and it stays sharp in the field even with f/2.8. It also has very good contrast and very little distortion. It focuses far more quickly than any of my other improvements, and it doesn't require any adjustments at all (this is the only lens I have that does not require AF adjustment). I really appreciate how he sketches the light sources on the edges of the depth of field. I would advise you to purchase it (with the sole proviso that the FR should be suitable for it), as it will prove to be an invaluable asset to the arsenal of novices, and, if rumors are to be believed, a valuable team member for veterans. Samples of photographs found in my albums; I would gladly respond to any inquiries you may have.

Pros
  • β€’ tack-sharp β€’ autofocus that's lightning-quick β€’ tiny and lightweight
Cons
  • The problems are inconsequential, especially when taking into account the cost.
