Review on 🍷 Houdini Wine Decanter: Enhance Your Wine Experience with Wine Shower Funnel and Strainer, Off-White, 10-Inch - Glass/Stainless by Chris Horton

I bought two of these as Christmas presents; one for my son who loves quality wines and the other for me and my wife. I ran a series of tests where I opened a bottle of red wine and poured some straight into a glass, then poured the rest of the bottle through a funnel/strainer into a Houdini carafe. Then I pour from the carafe into the second glass. The difference in taste is amazing. I highly recommend funnel decanting to enhance the aroma and flavor of red wines. Now for the cons. Houdini's decanter is great for flavor enhancement, but it's very difficult to clean and difficult to store. I end up hand washing it and balancing it upside down on a kitchen towel between a few items to dry. Then I have to find a special place to store the carafe as it takes up a lot of space. If I have to do it again, I'll find a decanter, which probably doesn't have that wide a bottom, and put some kind of lid on it so the wine can be stored for the next night. However, I use this decanter and strainer combo most of the week and am very glad I bought it. My son also loves the one we got for him. It was worth it because a $5-$12 bottle of red wine tastes like a bottle of much more expensive wine.
