I bought this as a gift for my significant other. He's been using it a lot so far. I will say that it was very thin when I got my hands on it. I'm afraid if you scratch it at all it will break instantly.

If you've never used a decanter before, I highly recommend trying it. I thought I like the wine and then I got this bad boy, even a cheap bottle of wine tastes amazing it's so hard to explain but the taste gets oooh better. Just do it, you'll be glad you did

That's great! I never knew how many particles were in my red wine. You will be surprised. It's also interesting to pour red wine and watch it trickle down the wall. it filters and carbonates your red wine. It's easy to clean. I recommend getting a glass bowl or some kind of topper to keep air and dust out. I make a storage box for it out of my 3D printer so it doesn't get dusty while it's on a shelf. It's also beautifully elegant.

I drink a lot of wine, most wine is sediment. I also pop the corks out of some of my old bottles, in fact I only popped them once on a Saturday night. It was very convenient to decant a whole 750ml bottle of wine and remove sediment and bits of cork. The decanter is easy to pour into wine glasses. Be sure to rinse and clean immediately. I'm sure the carafe will be very difficult to clean if you wait. Great price but not perfect.

I've never decanted wine in a real carafe so I was skeptical but it really mattered. It wasn't the expensive bottle of wine I tried it with, it was the bottle we've tried before. I poured some into a jar and quickly covered it with plastic wrap. I then poured the rest of the bottle into a decanter. Waited 20-30 minutes and compared the glass to decanted wine and it really stood out. The BISS has been completely removed. I love it so far.

When I first received this decanter, I winced upon unpacking it because the glass was so thin. It's subtle to the point of delicacy. However, it worked fine as long as you treated it very carefully. Maximum. Then, for about 90 days, they did the most amazing thing in it. I bought two of these as Christmas presents; one for my son who loves quality wines and the other for me and my wife. I ran a series of tests where I opened a bottle of red wine and poured some straight into a glass, then poured the rest of the bottle through a funnel/strainer into a Houdini carafe.
