Review on 🐱 Red Dingo Classic Cat Collar: Perfect Fit for All Felines by Cheryl Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally a quick release collar that stays put for my cat!

Nikolai is a master of escape, both running off the collar and taking to the streets. I had never had a stray cat, nor did I want Nick. He was a rescue kitten and already used to going outside when I adopted him. Despite my best efforts to keep him inside, if I let him out he would sneak past the dogs to escape. I bought an insanely expensive electronic pet door that was supposed to let the dogs out and let Nick in. Nick realized that when he heard the door open for the dogs to come out, he could just wait at the door and flee when they came back in. As much as I didn't want him to go outside, he had other plans and still found his way out. He must have some form of ID if he escapes successfully because I had to get him out of cat prison before and pay a hefty fine. I knew I needed a quick release because I had seen crashes where collars got stuck in fences etc. I tried other quick release collars and Nick quickly got the hang of it. He seemed to laugh at me as he removed each one within 30 seconds of putting them back on. Although he was quickly identified by a microchip, part of his punishment at my cat pen was due to his lack of a collar/ID. I browsed many reviews and websites and settled on this collar. It was a good choice as Nick didn't manage to take it down on his own, but it still takes off quickly in case he gets stuck climbing a fence or doing something else during his escape. I highly recommend this collar! It's tested by Nick and approved by Mom!
