Reset the ECU even if you clear the code

I have a 1999 Acura Cl and at first I thought it was wrong but I looked at the fan sensor which is on the underside of the thermostat housing. . This is the top thermal sensor that I need according to the code. Install correctly and fix the problem. FYI, disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the controller or it will think the problem is still there. I actually pulled onto the freeway and unlocked the car, when I got back to neutral it took the ECU about 10 minutes to stop and reset neutral. So far, so good. crossed fingers.
