Excellent customer service

The part was manufactured incorrectly but the company responded quickly and provided me with the correct items. In addition, replacing this sensor eliminated both the problem of poor starting and the air conditioner malfunction.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Many items

Works great only time will tell

Perfect for my 1996 Honda Civic ex vtec. Removed the check engine light and it fixed the rough idle I was having. My car kept pacing as I parked it after driving home from work.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Part close to original but much cheaper

Matches my Acura TL quite well. It came with a copper washer instead of a built-in rubber O-ring, but this didn't affect its capabilities. Time will tell how long this lasts. The readings are excellent. The temperature gauge no longer went into the red area.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Negative impression

Good to know my engine isn't overheating!

When my engine temp suddenly went to "H" I got paranoid! It took me a minute to figure out what was going on and when I did I ordered this temp sensor along with another sensor my car needed. After installation my temperature was normal due to cold engine temperature and normal operating temperature. Shown is the fan switch (brown connector) and coolant temperature sensor (white connector) installed with both new units.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not bad

Reset the ECU even if you clear the code

I have a 1999 Acura Cl and at first I thought it was wrong but I looked at the fan sensor which is on the underside of the thermostat housing. . This is the top thermal sensor that I need according to the code. Install correctly and fix the problem. FYI, disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the controller or it will think the problem is still there. I actually pulled onto the freeway and unlocked the car, when I got back to neutral it took the ECU about 10 minutes to stop and reset

Pros
  • . Good product for the price
Cons
  • No

Purchased for 2000 Honda CRV LX. The unit differs slightly from the original Honda part in that a copper sealing washer is used instead of an internal rubber sealing ring. However, I installed the sensor in the engine with no problems. When I plugged in the electrical connector, I found that it was very tight and didn't snap into place very easily. With the Actron code scanner connected and "key on/engine off", I found the reading to be intermittent when I wiggled slightly on the ECT sensor…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Faulty
