This is my second protein shake purchase, the first was really awful just gross and I returned it promptly. When I bought this I wanted to do it right this time. This Biochem Vanilla Whey Protein tastes so much better than my previous purchase as I am new to making lifestyle changes with protein shakes being a part of it, taste is a big factor. I'm not at the point where I can eat box and leaf smoothies and not wince like many advanced fitness freaks. I have a bad gag reflex when it tastes or smells wrong. I can proudly say that it tastes good, it's not a clove breakfast smoothie, but it's very nice and I can live with that. More importantly, there was no unpleasant aftertaste. Other than that, I find it lumpy! I also ordered a blender bottle with a twisting metal thing in it, I shook it out and it was still lumpy. Haven't tried blending it in my electric blender yet, I have a feeling it might solve this problem, but for someone like me who is slowly entering this new world of fitness, I want it for the user is very easy and convenient. My verdict - I'll keep this purchase, it tastes great but the clumps will make me look for something else once this jar runs out.
