I used this cutter to trim laminate edges when restoring my laminate countertops. That worked really well for the job. Every now and then I had to stop and clean (a little paint had built up from the old board, and glue from the new), but it made even cuts and cut right around the edges. This was my first experience with routing and it left a small scratch on the sides of the table top when I cut the top. (Possibly user error.) I waxed the scratch and it's gone. I then waxed the rest of the sides before chiseling the top and it worked perfectly.
