I was very surprised at the quality of the images for the price. This is a manual lens only. If you don't know how to shoot and have to do everything yourself, this lens is not for you. But if you like experimenting with different shutter speeds and apertures, this lens can take some great shots. Instructions are not included, but if you are a beginner, you can find many interesting free hand-held photography articles online. This is not a point and shoot lens.
