Review on 63 9040 Performance Air Intake System by Daniel Pyfer

I installed this on a 2021 Lexus LX570 similar to a Land Cruiser. It worked well. I had to cut off a small piece of plastic that wraps around the stock air filter. small detail. Land Cruiser uses less plastic under the hood to cover accessory components. This is not a necessary detail. Fits any Land Cruiser or Lexus LX570 2016 - current edition. I spoke to a K&N rep about my setup and he said they don't lose new cars because they haven't actually been installed on newer models. They play it safe because they know the cars haven't changed from 2016 to 2021. Before 2016 I'm not sure. The sound is incredible! Some revs really make it growl. I wanted to install an exhaust, but that would be too loud. I am shocked. It's louder than I expected but perfect for my application. I installed it myself. Follow the instructions step by step. The air sensor is the only tricky part in terms of orientation. Not bad. Watch a YouTube video and most mechanically savvy people will be able to install it. Lasts a couple of hours. Worth the investment.
